Figure, table and section ledger

Editorial contribution type: Domain-grounded methods & physical systems (primary).

Layout extraction, not a required paper template. Counts are distinct caption labels; a multi-panel figure counts once. Section spans are estimated from heading positions, including floats and whitespace. Method and limitations.

Extraction notes: No attached appendix boundary detected. Zero means no recognized caption, not independently verified absence.

Section-by-section lengths and source pages

The title/abstract/front matter precede the first numbered heading. A span ends at the next detected top-level heading, not at the last sentence; end-page whitespace is included. References and statements are listed separately. These are not measurements of text-only or artwork area.

    Argument and organization

    1. 1 Introduction; 2 Related Work; 3 Preliminary

Defines animated typography as simultaneous legibility, semantic alignment and temporal consistency, then introduces vector curves.

    2. 4 Method

Separates canonical appearance and per-frame deformation before legibility and mesh-structure regularization.

    3. 5 Experiments; 6 Conclusion

Pairs automatic scores with human preferences, component ablation and control-point/model generalization checks.

    Problem, claim and contribution

Three competing requirements are stated explicitly before formulation, so animation quality is not reduced to semantic prompt matching.

    Section 4, physical p.3 · Main paper

    Argument and section order

The canonical/deformation split precedes loss details; the subsequent experiments revisit each requirement and each regularizer.

    Sections 4–5, pp.3–7 · Main paper

    Figures, captions and visual explanation

The pipeline labels the frozen video prior and two distinct fields, while colored control points and restyled outlines explain what the vector representation makes editable.

    Figures 2–4, p.3 · Main paper

    Tables, comparisons and evidence

Tables separate appearance, text alignment and temporal scores; the ablation explicitly reports the full model as second-best in warping error, and the user study states 808 responses from 101 participants.

    Tables 1–2 and Figure 8, p.7 · Main paper

    Appendix and reproducibility

The teaser routes temporal results to video material; implementation and prompt details are assigned to supplementary material. Only main pointers and static frames were inspected.

    Figure 1, p.1; Section 5.1, pp.5–6 · Main paper

    Clarity and writing conventions

Control-point count is presented as a flexibility/self-intersection tradeoff, and the conclusion qualifies dependence on the video prior.

What to reuse—and what not to infer

Transferable lesson: Give each competing design requirement its own measurement and retain non-winning temporal scores alongside preference results.

Boundary: Appearance similarity is a proxy rather than direct letter-reading accuracy, and static rasters cannot verify animation smoothness. The reported per-example optimization is not real-time generation; user preferences do not establish universal typography usability.

Apply this lesson using the argument and evidence worksheet.

Writing-focused manuscript scan + selected visuals inspected
    Main text
Writing-oriented scan across the main manuscript, physical PDF pp.1–8, covering framing, section progression, method explanations, captions, comparison protocols and concluding scope; reference boundary checked. Selected full-page rasters were inspected. Not exhaustive line-by-line reading, proof verification or experimental reproduction.
    Appendix / supplement
Main-paper appendix/supplement references were checked. A separate supplementary source is linked in the inventory but was not retrieved or inspected; its contents are not included in the reading or visual-page counts.

This is a writing-focused scan of the manuscript and the stated supplementary scope: framing, organization, visual explanation, evidence presentation and wording. It is not a line-by-line proof audit, reproduction of results or exhaustive scientific review.
