Figure, table and section ledger

Editorial contribution type: Empirical analysis, diagnosis & auditing (primary).

Layout extraction, not a required paper template. Counts are distinct caption labels; a multi-panel figure counts once. Section spans are estimated from heading positions, including floats and whitespace. Method and limitations.

Section-by-section lengths and source pages

The title/abstract/front matter precede the first numbered heading. A span ends at the next detected top-level heading, not at the last sentence; end-page whitespace is included. References and statements are listed separately. These are not measurements of text-only or artwork area.

    Argument and organization

    1. 1 Introduction; 2 Related Work; 3 Data Collection System and Dataset

Motivates preserving raw radar information and presents the acquisition platform plus explicit coverage limits.

    2. 4 Methodology

Keeps the transformer simple, defines base/downstream tasks and makes the evaluation unit and uncertainty procedure explicit.

    3. 5 Results; 6 Conclusion

Orders representation ablations, data/model scaling, transfer and extrapolation about future dataset needs.

    Problem, claim and contribution

The paper frames the main question around data and representation choices, rather than architectural complexity alone.

    Contributions, physical p.2; Section 4.1, p.4 · Main paper

    Argument and section order

A standalone evaluation subsection precedes results and specifies geographic test separation, temporal dependence correction and paired comparisons.

    Section 4.4, p.5 · Main paper

    Figures, captions and visual explanation

The architecture diagram labels output coordinate axes for each task; scaling curves show dataset fractions, model sizes, relative baselines and confidence intervals together.

    Figure 4, p.5; Figures 6–7, p.7 · Main paper

    Tables, comparisons and evidence

The study acknowledges radar-video tuples are not independent samples and estimates effective sample size from autocorrelation before reporting relative differences with 95% intervals.

    Section 4.4, p.5; Table 4, p.6 · Main paper

    Appendix and reproducibility

Appendices separate acquisition A, implementation/evaluation B and additional results/scaling extrapolation C; these were not inspected.

    Sections 3–5, pp.3–8 · Main paper

    Clarity and writing conventions

The 100M-sample estimate is described as a projection/best guess, and the dataset limitation explicitly excludes adverse weather, darkness and different antenna configurations.

    Limitations, p.3; Section 5.4, p.8 · Main paper

What to reuse—and what not to infer

Transferable lesson: State the actual independent evaluation unit and the dependence correction before showing confidence intervals; distinguish observed scaling from extrapolated requirements.

Boundary: Radar hardware’s weather robustness is not evidence that a model trained on fair-weather daylight data generalizes there. Cross-configuration fine-tuning is not antenna-independent zero-shot transfer. The 100× data projection relies on assumptions and a test-set-trained diagnostic bound, not an observed saturation experiment or held-out model result.

Apply this lesson using the argument and evidence worksheet.
