Figure, table and section ledger
Editorial contribution type: Learning & optimization algorithms (primary) · Inference, algorithms & systems efficiency.
Layout extraction, not a required paper template. Counts are distinct caption labels; a multi-panel figure counts once. Section spans are estimated from heading positions, including floats and whitespace. Method and limitations.

Section-by-section lengths and source pages
The title/abstract/front matter precede the first numbered heading. A span ends at the next detected top-level heading, not at the last sentence; end-page whitespace is included. References and statements are listed separately. These are not measurements of text-only or artwork area.

Argument and organization
- Bottlenecks and dual consistency
Pairformer recycling and diffusion sampling motivate two separately trained consistency modules.
- Temporal geometry and applications
A variable-length schedule precedes structure prediction, binder-design and training-dynamics evidence.
Problem, claim and contribution
The opening decomposes runtime before proposing acceleration, making the two consistency targets traceable to measured bottlenecks rather than a generic compression claim.
Section 1, Figure 1; Section 3.2 · Main paper
Argument and section order
A compact stage-by-module loss table makes the sequential training schedule legible before the equations, distinguishing diffusion training from later Pairformer refinement.
Table 1 and Section 3.2, pages 3–4 · Main paper
Figures, captions and visual explanation
Figure 2 aligns original and compressed pipelines horizontally, reuses module colors and separates Pairformer/diffusion regions; dashed training connections contrast with solid inference flow.

Tables, comparisons and evidence
Best- and worst-sample RMSD columns reveal a tradeoff hidden by an overall success claim: DCFold improves worst-sample <2 Å success to 71.43% but trails AlphaFold3 on best-sample success, 78.57% versus 82.86%.
Table 2, page 6 · Main paper
Appendix and reproducibility
Compute, binder filtering, length-binned runtimes and generated-sample counts are usefully separated; downstream timings include additional ProteinMPNN/re-prediction work rather than equating folding speed with complete design speed.
Appendices B–C, pages 16–18, Tables 7–8 · Main paper
Clarity and writing conventions
The derivation needs correction or clarification: squared derivative ratios in Equation 20 disappear in Equation 21, while Table 3 calls differently scaled TM-score changes absolute improvements. These should not be copied uncritically.

What to reuse—and what not to infer
Transferable lesson: Connect each compressed component to a measured bottleneck, show stage-specific losses beside the architecture, and retain best/worst-case evidence instead of one headline score.
Boundary: Experiments use a Protenix-based AlphaFold3 reproduction and computational binder filters, not wet-lab binding validation. The temporal-Fisher derivation and appendix target-family labels require expert checking; no independent reproduction was performed.
