Figure, table and section ledger

Editorial contribution type: Architecture & representation (primary).

Layout extraction, not a required paper template. Counts are distinct caption labels; a multi-panel figure counts once. Section spans are estimated from heading positions, including floats and whitespace. Method and limitations.

Extraction notes: No attached appendix boundary detected. Zero means no recognized caption, not independently verified absence.

Section-by-section lengths and source pages

The title/abstract/front matter precede the first numbered heading. A span ends at the next detected top-level heading, not at the last sentence; end-page whitespace is included. References and statements are listed separately. These are not measurements of text-only or artwork area.

Separate source files—excluded from canonical-PDF totals

A separate author version may repeat main text and references. Whole-file lengths and counts are not extra appendix material and are never added to the canonical PDF totals. Read the study's source scope for which sections received substantive reading versus layout inspection.

    Additional source 1

Separate PDF (or ZIP containing it): whole-file layout of 6 physical pages; 1 detected figures and 12 tables. These may include overlapping main-text material.

Located appendix only: starts on physical p.1; ≈ 5.86 page-equivalents, 1 figure labels and 12 table labels. This interval is distinct from the whole file.

    Argument and organization

    1. 2. Methodology

Presents mapping claims, architecture, objective, and training strategies.

    2. 3. Results

Groups tasks, then component/loss/add-on ablations before the conclusion.

    Problem, claim and contribution

The introduction focuses on reducing optimized parameter count, motivating a different training parameterization rather than only post-training compression.

    Argument and section order

Theorems precede the practical latent/mapping/target decomposition, with a separate training-strategy section for shared and layer-wise latent vectors.

    §§2.1–2.4 · Main paper · Additional source 2

    Figures, captions and visual explanation

The architecture diagram makes a latent vector generate target weights, while a second diagram follows the update between epochs.

    Tables, comparisons and evidence

Task-specific tables place trainable counts beside classification, segmentation, time-series, and fine-tuning scores; the segmentation table retains lower overlap despite higher pixel accuracy.

    Tables 1–5 p. 7 · Main paper · Additional source 2

    Appendix and reproducibility

Explicit baseline layer configurations and further result tables help interpret large reduction ratios; proof details are separated from experimental recipes.

    Supplement §§1.1–1.3,2 · Main paper · Additional source 2

    Clarity and writing conventions

The add-on discussion states that the generated target still has its original inference parameter count unless pruning or low-rank methods are separately applied.

What to reuse—and what not to infer

Transferable lesson: Parameter-efficiency writing must say exactly which parameters are optimized, stored, generated, and used at inference.

Boundary: Fewer trainable scalars do not automatically imply a smaller deployed model or lower inference compute; existence arguments do not establish every optimizer's convergence.

Apply this lesson using the argument and evidence worksheet.
