Figure, table and section ledger
Editorial contribution type: Efficiency, inference & systems (primary).
Layout extraction, not a required paper template. Counts are distinct caption labels; a multi-panel figure counts once. Section spans are estimated from heading positions, including floats and whitespace. Method and limitations.

Extraction notes: No attached appendix boundary detected. Zero means no recognized caption, not independently verified absence.
Section-by-section lengths and source pages
The title/abstract/front matter precede the first numbered heading. A span ends at the next detected top-level heading, not at the last sentence; end-page whitespace is included. References and statements are listed separately. These are not measurements of text-only or artwork area.

Separate source files—excluded from canonical-PDF totals
A separate author version may repeat main text and references. Whole-file lengths and counts are not extra appendix material and are never added to the canonical PDF totals. Read the study's source scope for which sections received substantive reading versus layout inspection.

Argument and organization
- Problem and contribution
The paper explains how pixel-aligned Gaussians can be redundant while voxel aggregation trades memory for quantization. The proposed serialized representation is introduced as a response to both problems.
- Argument sequence
A representation comparison comes before the overall model and Z-order block; training and dense-view inference are separate subsections. Experiments distinguish fixed-view, variable-view and cross-dataset settings before runtime and selection ablations.
- Evidence and verification
Table 1 groups results by 2/4/8/12 input views and retains dataset resolution in the table. Later tables separately compare runtime/Gaussian count and all/random/Z-order input selection, avoiding the conflation of fewer primitives with fewer observations.

Figures, captions and visual explanation
Figure 2 contrasts pixel, voxel and Z-order Gaussian arrangements using simple geometric cartoons. The later block diagram makes serialization, grouped attention and shifting explicit, giving readers both the representation intuition and the executable sequence.

Appendix and reproducibility
The supplement details maximum-coverage viewpoint selection and adds higher-view-count, backbone and sparse-attention analyses. It is structured around scalability mechanisms that the main accuracy table cannot fully test.

Clarity and writing conventions
The text names layer-one versus layer-two variants and notes the compression trade-off, rather than silently choosing the best variant per metric. This is helpful wording for an efficiency method with several operating points.

What to reuse—and what not to infer
Transferable lesson: Explain the representation with a small contrastive cartoon, then report quality at matched view counts and report primitive/runtime savings separately.
Boundary: Primitive count is not an end-to-end speed measurement; input resolution, number of views, backbone and attention configuration all affect the comparison.
Apply this lesson using the argument and evidence worksheet.
