Figure, table and section ledger

Editorial contribution type: Architecture & representation (primary).

Layout extraction, not a required paper template. Counts are distinct caption labels; a multi-panel figure counts once. Section spans are estimated from heading positions, including floats and whitespace. Method and limitations.

Section-by-section lengths and source pages

The title/abstract/front matter precede the first numbered heading. A span ends at the next detected top-level heading, not at the last sentence; end-page whitespace is included. References and statements are listed separately. These are not measurements of text-only or artwork area.

Separate source files—excluded from canonical-PDF totals

A separate author version may repeat main text and references. Whole-file lengths and counts are not extra appendix material and are never added to the canonical PDF totals. Read the study's source scope for which sections received substantive reading versus layout inspection.

Separate PDF (or ZIP containing it): whole-file layout of 3 physical pages; 1 detected figures and 0 tables. These may include overlapping main-text material.

Located appendix only: starts on physical p.1; ≈ 2.63 page-equivalents, 1 figure labels and 0 table labels. This interval is distinct from the whole file.

    Argument and organization

    1. Problem and contribution

The introduction critiques pairwise-then-global registration through missing global context, sensitivity to bad pairs and repeated computation. The proposed joint feed-forward prediction responds to those named bottlenecks rather than offering an unexplained new transformer.

    2. Argument sequence

Background first defines the registration problem and earlier pairwise diffusion, then Section 3.2 introduces FUSER and Section 3.3 adds FUSER-DF refinement. Keeping the optional stage separate helps readers distinguish base capability from extra inference work.

    3. Evidence and verification

Table 1 groups full, pruned and sparse pose graphs and includes the number of pair computations. It reports rotation and translation thresholds plus mean/median errors, making accuracy and a major computational burden simultaneously inspectable.

    Figures, captions and visual explanation

Figure 2 compresses the base architecture into absolute geometry, geometric attention and global regression. A separate diffusion illustration explains refinement; qualitative reconstructions compare the base and refined models against ground truth.

    Tables, comparisons and evidence

    Appendix and reproducibility

Three focused supplementary sections define evaluation metrics, give the variational derivation and document the absolute geometry encoder. The short supplement supplies verification details for mathematical and architectural claims without reopening the narrative.

    Clarity and writing conventions

Separate FUSER and FUSER-DF rows let the reader see that refinement can improve strict thresholds without uniformly improving every threshold. Keep this nuanced wording instead of describing every diffusion addition as an unconditional gain.

What to reuse—and what not to infer

Transferable lesson: Name the bottleneck in the old pipeline, visualize the changed computation, and compare base versus optional refinement with both errors and pair-count costs.

Boundary: Zero pairwise registration calls does not mean zero total computation; a latency claim must still include global inference and optional diffusion.
