Figure, table and section ledger

Editorial contribution type: Efficiency, inference & systems (primary).

Layout extraction, not a required paper template. Counts are distinct caption labels; a multi-panel figure counts once. Section spans are estimated from heading positions, including floats and whitespace. Method and limitations.

Section-by-section lengths and source pages

The title/abstract/front matter precede the first numbered heading. A span ends at the next detected top-level heading, not at the last sentence; end-page whitespace is included. References and statements are listed separately. These are not measurements of text-only or artwork area.

Separate source files—excluded from canonical-PDF totals

A separate author version may repeat main text and references. Whole-file lengths and counts are not extra appendix material and are never added to the canonical PDF totals. Read the study's source scope for which sections received substantive reading versus layout inspection.

Separate PDF (or ZIP containing it): whole-file layout of 24 physical pages; 13 detected figures and 2 tables. These may include overlapping main-text material.

Located appendix only: starts on physical p.5; ≈ 19.45 page-equivalents, 13 figure labels and 2 table labels. This interval is distinct from the whole file.

    Argument and organization

    1. Failure of naive acceleration

Show the one-step collapse before defining observable fields and the transport estimator.

    2. Derivation to executable steps and trade-offs

Provide a simplified algorithm, then compare runtime/quality and dissect transport, refinement and sampling noise.

    Problem, claim and contribution

The motivation demonstrates that reducing integration steps is not a free speedup: naive drift differences distort objects and backgrounds.

    Argument and section order

Preliminaries distinguish the ideal flow from the observable noisy-state model before introducing the local estimator and optional proximal step.

    Sections 3–4, PDF pp. 3–5 · Main paper · Additional source 2

    Figures, captions and visual explanation

The page-6 comparison table displays training/inversion requirements and efficiency alongside preservation and semantic scores; its image grid prints each edit beneath the corresponding row.

    Tables, comparisons and evidence

The paper separates field stability, noise-count sensitivity, transport/refinement contributions and model transfer rather than using one overall quality score to justify every mechanism.

    Appendix and reproducibility

A contents list indexes derivations, energy bounds, gap analysis, expanded ablations, user study, multi-noise pseudocode and a symbol table, making a long mathematical supplement navigable.

    Supplement contents, PDF p. 1; Sections B–L · Main paper · Additional source 2

    Clarity and writing conventions

The implementation text explicitly says the default includes refinement and is NFE=2, an essential qualification to the one-step title.

What to reuse—and what not to infer

Transferable lesson: For a speed paper, distinguish algorithmic step count from actual model evaluations and runtime; show quality–preservation trade-offs, not only one favored operating point.

Boundary: Do not describe the default full pipeline as a single model evaluation. The theory has surrogate and smoothness assumptions, and this writing scan does not certify its proofs.

Apply this lesson using the argument and evidence worksheet.

Writing-focused manuscript scan + selected visuals inspected
    Main text
Manuscript-wide writing scan of PDF pp. 1–10: framing, argument sequence, section organization, figure/table captions, evaluation interpretation and limitations; reference sections identified. This is a writing-focused scan, not an exhaustive technical proof or reproduction audit. Main PDF pages 3 and 6 were rendered and visually inspected.
    Appendix / supplement
Writing-focused scan of the separate supplementary PDF, pp. 1–24, including its organization, captions, protocol/evidence detail and limitation material where present; proofs and code listings were inspected for exposition, not independently verified or executed. Supplement contents, PDF p. 1; Sections B–L. Linked video/audio demonstrations and non-PDF archive contents were not assessed.

This is a writing-focused scan of the manuscript and the stated supplementary scope: framing, organization, visual explanation, evidence presentation and wording. It is not a line-by-line proof audit, reproduction of results or exhaustive scientific review.
