Figure, table and section ledger

Editorial contribution type: Architecture & representation (primary).

Layout extraction, not a required paper template. Counts are distinct caption labels; a multi-panel figure counts once. Section spans are estimated from heading positions, including floats and whitespace. Method and limitations.

Section-by-section lengths and source pages

The title/abstract/front matter precede the first numbered heading. A span ends at the next detected top-level heading, not at the last sentence; end-page whitespace is included. References and statements are listed separately. These are not measurements of text-only or artwork area.

Separate source files—excluded from canonical-PDF totals

A separate author version may repeat main text and references. Whole-file lengths and counts are not extra appendix material and are never added to the canonical PDF totals. Read the study's source scope for which sections received substantive reading versus layout inspection.

    Additional source 1

Separate PDF (or ZIP containing it): whole-file layout of 3 physical pages; 4 detected figures and 3 tables. These may include overlapping main-text material.

Located appendix only: starts on physical p.1; ≈ 2.9 page-equivalents, 4 figure labels and 3 table labels. This interval is distinct from the whole file.

    Argument and organization

    1. Length-dependent failure

Use translation degradation across sentence lengths to motivate the intervention.

    2. Modular pipeline and paired comparisons

Define segmentation, replaceable translator and diffusion reconstruction before testing multiple existing backbones.

    Problem, claim and contribution

The opening diagnosis is length-dependent error propagation, creating a concrete test target beyond aggregate translation quality.

    Argument and section order

Three named method components map directly to the overview and the ablation switches; the existing translator remains visibly replaceable.

    Sections 3.1–3.3 and Table 3 · Main paper · Additional source 2

    Figures, captions and visual explanation

The full-width pipeline includes two enlarged module panels: a motion-energy boundary example and masked-text refinement steps explain operations hidden by high-level arrows.

    Tables, comparisons and evidence

Each backbone is followed by its enhanced counterpart across shared dataset/metric columns; this paired layout tests plug-and-play usefulness rather than comparing only one favored backbone.

    Tables 1–3, PDF p. 7 · Main paper · Additional source 2

    Appendix and reproducibility

Failure cases distinguish fluent output from correct semantic content, while segment perturbations and alternate post-editors probe dependence on upstream translations.

    Clarity and writing conventions

A named Limitations & Future Work section states post-editing overhead and pseudo-pair dependence separately from the conclusion.

What to reuse—and what not to infer

Transferable lesson: For a plug-in method, use paired baseline/enhanced rows over multiple backbones, and enlarge the two least familiar operations in the architecture figure.

Boundary: The overview caption is unusually terse despite a dense diagram; an improved draft should define mask/refinement symbols. Better fluency can still hide incorrect upstream semantics.

Apply this lesson using the argument and evidence worksheet.
