NeurIPS 2026 — main-track rules and template
Read requirements separately from examples
Section titled “Read requirements separately from examples”These are verified 2026 requirements, not policies for a future edition. Public manuscript appearance cannot establish the original submission rules. The official oral inventory spans Main Track and Evaluations & Datasets; the rules below document the Main Track. The Evaluations & Datasets call follows the main-track framework with track-specific additions; read those before preparing an E&D submission.

Conflicts and unknowns
Do not transfer main-track requirements to every track
The 2026 call distinguishes main, Evaluations & Datasets, and Position Papers with separate calls and portals. The corpus track and exact phase must remain explicit.

Submission and final page budgets differ
The template describes the nine-page submission allowance; the handbook explicitly grants a tenth content page after acceptance. Public accepted PDFs are not evidence of their original submission length.

Do not carry forward 2025 supplement arrangements
The 2026 call puts all supplements at the full-paper deadline and the handbook places textual appendices with the main PDF. Earlier submission arrangements do not govern this edition.
